SOFT WASHING

Mold, mildew and algae commonly grow on roofs in the United States and Canada. The most common algae is gloeocapsa magma. To protect itself from the sun it grows a dark pigmented shealth which causes your roof to darken and causes black streaks.  Wash Wizard uses our proprietary solutions and our low-pressure soft wash system to kill gloeocapsa magna as well as all organic growth and return your roof to its natural color. This process is recommended by the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturer Association (ARMA) to extend the life of your roof. 

Organic growth, such as the one shown here, can really affect the curb appeal of your home.  Algae grows all over our homes and buildings. The spores, carried by the wind, can spread rapidly. This is usually most visible on the north side of structures due to having less sunlight. Heavy foliage in the area will also create shaded areas allowing the algae to flourish. Our proprietary house washing solution will kill all organic growth including its roots allowing it to gently wash off using our low-pressure soft wash system.
